I just wanted to say of how interested i was to read this! I live in tampa and diving is my main hobbie with 100+ dives all over the world. Meanwhile i still didnt dive in any of those springs mentioned as of i was soo passionate to dive this weekend with the weather getting warmer but i didnt have much information until i found this article which explained to me each and every detail i wanted to know!

I just had a question about the “$184 for the camper (all eventually refunded by the fraud department at my credit card company)” i got that every park had a fee for entering (which is costly) but i did not understand what did you mean by that it would be refunded back. May you please tell me more about this information?

I’ve loved reading about your Florida cavern diving adventures! My husband and I did a course about 6-7 years ago down there and dove Rainbow River, Ginnie Springs, and Peacock Springs (which looked similar to Catfish Hole-covered in duckweed!). It was challenging but such an amazing experience, and your video really took me back. Now I really want to go back to Ginnie Springs and hit Blue Grotto and Devils Den!

In reply to Ratheesh R Nath. I can't recommend Adventure Outfitters in Tampa more highly for an open water course -- you'll have a whole world opened to you once you get that card in hand!

In reply to Dominique. Yeah I feel you! It always amazes me that there are people from the northeast of the US who dive year round! Nooooo thank you. I haven't even tried it in the summer, ha. These springs were about as cold as I could get and still be comfortable!
