In reply to Noel. I haven't heard any reports, but usually our year-round neighbors send updates of any concerns so I think we are in the clear! (Our house isn't winterized for year-round living.) In reply to becky hutner. We save them for the next year! Sometimes our guests take their handpainted ones home but some leave them. Everyone pretty much just paints one lantern a year so we just keep adding a few new ones... and since they are fairly delicate it's rare to make it a whole year without one being destroyed in the process of putting them up and taking them down!
