Jordan is definitely one of my favourite countries that I have been to. I simply loved the whole of the country. It is a shame you could not visit beyond Amman and go to Petra and the deserts. They are definitely a must-do! Same as you, it was not love at first sight with Amman for me, but it did grow on me and could get to know it better through some locals we met on our arrival. The whole country and their people are an absolute delight. Feeling jealous of you reading this post, and also very happy for you that you could visit such a lovely and charming country as your 46th! X
