Really interesting Q&A, I totally get what you mean about Europe, I travelled there for the first half of this year and while it was great I was so excited to get back to Asia, it just feels more ‘adventurous’ somehow! Oh man it's a pretty long story that I've been saving for a "top travel mishaps" kind of post, but yeah, on a very disturbing, turbulent flight I tried to calm my nerves by pouring a travel size rum that I happened to have in my purse into my free Diet Coke (having NO IDEA it was against the rules) and when the flight attendant realized I'd done she threatened to have me arrested! I was super apologetic but other rowdy people on the plane (it was coming from Vegas after all) tried to defend me and it spiraled to the point I thought I was really potentially walking off the place in cuffs. I got off the plane and curled up in the terminal and sobbed! It was nuts!
