In reply to Victoria. I love that Victoria! Festivals aren't usually quite as ingrained in the culture of the US as they are in the UK, so I think the idea of bringing your adult parents is far less common. I do see people with their young kids at some!

Maybe it’s a uk thing, but many of my friends go to festivals with their children (from babies all the way to grown ups) so it seems quite normal to me to have multi generations going to a festival. Our camp at Glastonbury this year had people from teenagers up to those in their fifties! I took my mum to Proms in the Park and she loved it!

I must comment on this post, as my mom is one of my best buds and we do tons together. She is one of my favorite travel buddies and is always up for doing almost anything. She has even been to Burning Man! I would never hesitate to take my mom any where with me. In fact, there used to be a huge local weekend long alternative rock music festival when we were in middle school / high school. Since we were too young to arrange and go on our own, my mom was the one to take us and our friends! Sorry to go on and on, I literally have the BEST mom in the world, haha 🙂 Love seeing you and your mom travel and do fun stuff together 🙂

In reply to Dominique. That actually was one of the things my mom was most taken aback by -- the price! I've totally come to just accept festival costs for what they are, but I can see how it can be shocking to a first time attendee.
