It’s absolutely devastating. Obviously it’s happening naturally as well, but human presence has definitely accelerated its depletion. The Dead Sea is such a strange phenomenon in so many ways and it’s just another factor in showing just how diverse our little planet is. It draws tourists for sure, which is another reason to ensure its conservation. Great post as always, Alex. I always enjoy when you delve deeper into issues like this.

Float tanks are the best, and they’re all different. You want the one that keeps the temperature through the entire time.

If you don’t you’ll most likely be cold by the end of your float, and there’s nothing worse than that.

If you make friends with the owner, and no one is scheduled behind you, you may be able to float even longer. I’ve done 3 hours a few times and it was AMAZING!
