You definitely win the wedding attending award, though I do work my schedule pretty extensively to attend them. Actually, I’m sure you do the same! So far only one next summer…

I was having a really rough month around the time of the wedding (all will be reveled in the roundups, as usual) and one day my mom said, alright, I can’t solve most of your problems but I can buy you a new dress for this wedding! (Previously I had moaned that I didn’t have the money to buy anything new and was going to wear some old thing.) It was very fun going shopping together which we haven’t done since I was in high school. She’s the best.
