Scrolling through these is really making me miss summer. Every year the family and I get one of those lovely little Martha’s Vineyard vacation rentals for about a week or so. Let me tell you, I have taken plenty of vacation in my life and nothing has topped Martha’s Vineyard yet.

Funny enough there is one national chain on the island… Dairy Queen. Ha! They must have come and been grandfathered in before all the bans were in place? They are in such a quaint little house with a wood carved sign you wouldn’t even know it was Dairy Queen unless you really looked.

I love when you can find towns in the U.S. with local business as well, so many are just filled with TGI Fridays, Best Buy, etc.
