So jealous of your Palm Springs trip! I haven’t made it there yet after 3 years in San Diego, but my friend is going up this weekend and she loves staying at The Ace Hotel. I would definitely use Airbnb too so I could bring my little guy Rocky with us! Thanks for the tips!

Ahhhh, the Springs. One of my most beloved nooks of planet earth. As this post illustrates, one of the best things to do here is absolutely nothing. But the following activities are also great if you haven’t been already — dining/drinking/lounging at the Parker Hotel. Vintage shopping (clothes and mid century home decor) on Palm Canyon. A modern architecture tour. A trip to Pioneertown for old 1950s sets from John Wayne films and honky tonk at Pappy and Harriet’s. And on and on…
