This is a neat shot. As you mentioned, it's difficult to capture landmarks/cities that are well traveled, but that challenge hopefully spurs more creativity.

Ha! What a great quote. I had no idea you felt so passionately about glass buildings :)

I like the photo. I hate buildings with reflective glass because it is like a person wearing huge dark sunglasses. It tells you nothing of the person behind the facade. Reflective glass buildings reflect their neighbors and neighborhood, they do not contribute to it. They are like leeches. But your photo uses the reflective glass to capture the city vibe, jarring, bumpy, big, varied. The row of greenery along the top edge reminds me of the old saying, 'Doctors can bury their mistakes, architects can only advise where to plant vines'

Thanks Danielle! I just moved out of Brooklyn after four years and I had the same struggles trying to capture such a dynamic place on camera!

What a great photo! I do think it's difficult to capture photos of famous cities/landmarks in an original way. I live near New York City and I'm always struggling to capture it in a different light.

You did an amazing job with this photo. :)
