Hey Brittney! How long is your trip? Personally I LOATHE staying anywhere for just one night — between checking in, checking out, unpacking and packing up again it never seems worth it. So if I were you I’d add in two or three nights elsewhere like Ubud where you can sleep off your jetlag and then arrive nice and early at Samabe! But to answer your question, yes, many many women stay in hostels and cheap hotels in Bali very safely. Enjoy!

However, I would be flying in from Los Angeles and most flights arrive at 4 pm. I want to get the most out of my stay and I was wondering if it is safe (for 2 women) to stay in a hostel/cheap hotel for the night so we could arrive early for our stay?
