That museum looks as fascinating as the timeframe it covers. It’s so disgustingly sad that the KKK used it as even more of an excuse… not that racists (and particularly radicalized ones) seem to need much of a stretch.

Savannah is supposed to be the most haunted city in the US–and our tour guide had loads of amazing stories to tell us as we moved from bar to bar. I highly recommend doing one next time you’re there, especially if you like ghost stories and delicious southern cocktails!
