It does indeed — I’ve been back many times since I wrote this post and enjoyed discovering more of the area! I even brought a retreat group there this past summer where we did yoga at The Dali.

I visited when I was much younger and before I was a diver! I’m thinking of road tripping from New York to Florida this summer — believe me, both “visit Kristin” and “go to Georgia Aquarium” are definite stops!

Definitely try to make it down for the Gasparilla Pirate Invasion / Day Parade downtown, or the Knight Parade through Ybor. The day parade is typically near the end of January, while the knight parade is usually early February. I lived in Ybor City for 3 years before moving to DC; it’s a fun area. 🙂

And family in the area is the perfect excuse to keep going back again and again!

Believe me Melissa, I had the same reaction! But I noticed a few other art museums in the St. Pete area that I’m planning on visiting next time… I guess it’s a little hidden gem of the art world!

Its funny how sometimes you visit a place so many times you get lazy and forget to even look into the attractions. That’s why I’m glad I have this blog to make me a bit more accountable 🙂
