In reply to Sabrina D Jamison. Hey Sabrina! Since the Arab Spring, there are simply a lot of laws in Egypt that demand a police presence around tourists. It can be surprising to see at first but you get used to it :-) I have had great experiences in Egypt and now lead tours there myself! You can find them on my retreats page!

Loved your post! Egypt is certainly a fascinating country, so much history and interesting places to visit. I also did a tour with Travel Talk Tours and my experience was incredible, I found the itinerary, visits and accommodation top-notch, glad to see that you enjoyed your visit as well!

Ha, it’s a very tough call! In the end I’m very glad I went but due to the bus, I’m not sure I’d go again. So, that probably didn’t help at all 🙂

I’ve just been looking for Travel Talk reviews and it brought me to your post! I’m still so undecided. They sound pretty good but I’ve read similar things about their buses elsewhere, and the tour groups seem to be huge! I’m looking at their Balkan tours, and I feel like the Balkans would be easy to explore independently. I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO, ALEX!! Hahaha.
