Unfortunately I didn’t get to do the hike. It had rained so much during the last week that they really didn’t recommend doing the hike. But at least I got to go to Lopes Mendes by boat, and luckily there were blue skies while we were there. Incredible beach!

Yes, it’s probably best to find someone to go with. I will be staying with a tour, so I assume that some of them will probably want to do the hike. I was just thinking that if none of them wanted to do the hike, I would rather not miss it. But I’ll just see when I get there, hopefully some of them are up for it, they should be, it looks like a great hike!

Hey Kathrine! Honestly, I’d probably try to find someone else to do it with you, which shouldn’t be too tough if you stay at a hostel. I personally try to avoid hiking alone in new areas I’m unfamiliar with, regardless of where it is in the world.
