Oh, The Places We’ll Go
Subject to change, and expect surprises, but here’s the general idea.
Day 1: Welcome to Cairo! After dropping our bags at the regal Mena House Hotel, we’ll get to see the famed pyramids up close and personal — spending all afternoon there so you get your perfect Instagram shot. In the evening we’ll have dinner overlooking the pyramids.
Day 2: Get ready for a whirlwind Cairo city tour. We’ll soak up the Egyptian Museum, a historic mosque in Islamic Cairo, and the famous Khan el-Khalili market before winding down at a chill afternoon yoga class at a local studio. End the epic day with a sunset sail and a dinner of tradition Egyptian fare (and wine!). If you fancy a night on the town, cap it off with drinks at the Cairo Jazz Club.
Day 3: Enjoy a morning by the pool basking in a final view of the pyramids before flying to Sharm El Sheik Airport with the group!
OPTIONAL: If the flights you find arrive in Cairo late, you also have the option to arrive on September 1st and we will book you a night at the Le Meridian Airport Hotel for an additional cost. Then, after a poolside or spa morning on September 2nd, you can merge with the group when we land in Cairo from Luxor!
Where We’ll Stay and What We’ll Eat
We’ll stay at the luxurious Mena House Hotel, which boasts lush gardens, glamorous restaurants, and Instagrammable views of the pyramids from the pool — it’s the closest hotel to the pyramids in all of Cairo! There’s an onsite gym, a spa, and several bars and places for bites. Shared rooms have two queen beds, private rooms have one king size bed.
For meals, we’ll mix it up — one night, we’ll dine on local delicacies aboard a private felucca sail along the Nile River. Another, we’ll eat at a chic poolside restaurant. For lunch, we’ll stop a hip local spot where you can order as you please. All diets can be accommodated.
