I’m as wary as the next person when it comes to visiting the Middle East. Having said that, I’ve been to Turkey (which in my mind is Europe) and Qatar. I’d love to visit Dubai, and Iran.

I hadn’t really thought about Kuwait, so why not!

I do like Arab architecture and history especially Ancient History, along the lines of when the Middle East was purely a nomadic desert, or pre-Gardens of Babylon / Mesopotamia era!
