How to put this, without coming across as insensitive and my thoughts are with the challenges your family faces. But your writing become more through this challenging period. What you are having to deal with and take account of as you care for your mum shows me as a person who loves to travel write but is presently home bound is that it is possible. You help keep my writing alive. The difficulty you have to put pen to paper shows me how hard it really is when your priorities are different and the pazazz of being somewhere new and the stimulation it provides is not easily accessible – so the words don’t simply trip off the tongue.
I’m also a Therapist and in between slogging to bring my site to financial life, I have to also work as a mature 52 year old with responsibilities as I attempt to combine travel + therapy because I know that means wellbeing and I want to help others re-energise their life. So keep at it. Your acknowledgments of the troubles you go through, are helping me keep going, as I push the boulder up the hill towards success in my own right. P.S. I’d love a pair of those killer blue cowboy boots!!!! Aren’t they a dream 🙂
