Wander Women Wednesdays are back! This mid-week feature is all about highlighting an upcoming Wander Women Retreat, or a new aspect of our retreat business we’re excited about.

YellowLines

So… it’s that part of December where we all start to freak out, right? Whether it’s about realizing that the gifts we still haven’t gotten around to buying won’t arrive in time no matter how much money we throw at express shipping or an internal panic that we aren’t ending the year where we’d hoped to (welp, that’s almost painfully accurate to type this year), we’re in the stress stretch.  Or, you know, the most wonderful time of the year, depending on the day.

One of my great joys of 2020 has been my pride in the virtual Wander Women Retreats we released. I’m so proud of them. And while our recent guest survey — feel free to fill it out, even now! — shows that most of us are Zoomed-out and and that strictly scheduled virtual events are getting tiresome and tricky, we know that many are still seeking the fulfillment, creativity, wanderlust, movement, and joy that we were so proud our retreats brought to the women who shared them with us.

Which is why I am so excited to launch our latest offering today — Wander Women On Demand! If you missed either of our two live virtual retreats, you can now purchase the pre-recorded elements to enjoy at your own pace — or gift it to a very lucky friend or family member. We’ve even crafted customized print-ables or email-ables to let your recipient know how sweet you are, in style. (Cutely wrapping a print-out has been my go-to move for gifting experiences for years.)

So here’s the deal. The price works just about $10 per yoga class alone — yet you also get access to meditations, educational workshops on everything from smoothie bowls to crafternoon-ing, and a week of journaling prompts. And you can download them and keep them forever, coming back to your favorites over and over again. So join me in ending this year or starting the new one blissed out and refreshed.

A huge thank you to the Wander Women family, from our workshop hosts to our live retreat guests and beyond — we could not have done this without you! As always, Wander Women Retreats is donating a portion of proceeds to a charity — this time, supporting our friends in the hard-hit hospitality community. We’re also paying a royalty from each sale to our hard-working workshop hosts, continuing to bring income to affected industries.

It truly is, as we said from the beginning, all the inspiration, creativity and feel-good vibes of a Wander Woman Retreat, from the comfort of your home — and on your own schedule. And it can arrive to your inbox instantly! Thanks for shopping small — you make us do a happy dance, every time.

The Details

These yoga classes, meditations, workshops, and journaling prompts will be available on-demand within 24 hours of purchase. The cost for access for each retreat is $75, or both for $130.

As with all of our retreats, we’ll be donating a percentage of our profits to a charity. This time, we’re so happy to support Another Round, Another Rally; a COVID-19 relief fund for the hospitality industry – we miss incredible hospitality during our retreats and beyond! As a small business, we love paying it forward thanks to all of your support!

What’s Included

Purchasing this on demand access includes the following exclusive content:

• Seven pre-recorded yoga flows designed to challenge the body and recharge the mind — think everything from yummy yin too vigorous vinyasa
• Six meditation recordings even people who hate meditation can enjoy
• Seven thought-provoking journaling prompts
• Five escape workshops with experts in travel, nutrition, photography, diving, art, home design, blogging, and sustainability

Like any Wander Women Retreat, you can make it your own. Complete the classes on your own time, and if you want to skip something, you do you! We do encourage you to try new things though — some live guests told us they were shocked to find their new favorite activity was watercolor painting, for example, even if they didn’t fancy themselves artists.

What’s Not Included

While we’d love to ship each of you a confetti-filled box (biodegradable confetti, of course!) with crafting supplies, due to various shipping restrictions around the globe, we will refrain and instead you can enjoy shopping at your favorite local supplier for any crafting supplies or yoga materials you don’t yet have on hand. Both the workshop hosts and I have provided many modifications in case something is in short supply.

Additionally, though we had a blast connecting in real time over Zoom or Facebook live during the virtual retreats, this on demand retreat does not include the mixology classes, any live workshops, Zoom meet + greets, or private Facebook group access like the live versions of these virtual retreats did.

Yoga + Meditations

You’ll receive access to seven flows and six meditations led by me! Classes include vinyasa, with some slow flows, sculpting sets, yin, sweaty band classes, and more. And, we’ll send over a link to my playlists –aka my pride and joy. Many of our past guests have reported coming back to these classes over and over again.

For those of you who don’t know me (and hi, by the way!) I’m is a RYT 200 Registered Yoga Teacher, a Buti Bands and Sculpt instructor, and a regular yoga practitioner for over a decade. Creative sequencing, building badass playlists, and disproving the idea that one can be “bad” at yoga are my jam, and I’m excited to share some of my favorite ways to move.

F.A.Q.

How is this different from past virtual retreats?

These beloved classes + workshops are from past Wander Women Global retreats. We are so grateful to our past virtual guests for joining us in real time, and are excited to now offer certain elements with this on demand access!

Will this sell out?

Nope, there’s no limit on the number of attendees! We aren’t sure how long this on demand access will be available for purchase, however once you receive on demand access you can download and keep for life!

I still have more questions, or cute photos of my dog. Who do I contact about that?

Um, yes please! Our email is retreats@alexinwanderland.com.

I’m excited to hear what you think of our latest offering. And remember, if you’re craving more retreat options, virtual or otherwise, don’t be shy — let us know in the comments!

Thank you for your love + support in this weird year!
