In reply to Anna. Hey Anna! So glad to hear you are planning a trip to Egypt. I was in Egypt in April 2018! I was amazed by how comfortable I felt traveling Egypt independently -- though I was with a group tour in Luxor and Aswan and I recognize that provided some level of protection from hassle.

I have been planning and researching Egypt. My goal is not to join any organized tours but rather venture out on my own.
Your article is perfect for my planning processes. It is informative and has a ton of details. Could you tell me when did you go to Egypt, what month?
Did you ever feel insecure?
I will be traveling solo. I have traveled a lot, so I would say I am an experienced traveler. Egypt has been on my list of places to visit for a long time!

One of my favourite things is to experience the feeling of stepping back in time in a place, no matter how that happens. A camel ride to a picturesque hidden gem diving site and Bedouin camp sounds like the absolute perfect combination. The whole experience must have been so special. Great post!

This looks fantastic! I like how they added splashes of colour to the camp to make it more appealing because it looks like a lovely place to stay now. I’m not a fan of camels – well, I tried to be but they don’t like me – but I would still try to ride one to get to that place! It looks like it worth it.
