Hey Alex, what a superb post. It brings back many memories, as I was born in Glasgow -I visited the Kelvingrove art museum when I was back in Scotland about a year and a half ago with my father – I couldn’t get over the priceless art that was on display (you could touch it and I did!) Dali / Picasso / etc – you must go next time you are in Glasgow

All the museums you visited look fantastic!

I have been on a few tours by boat and trolley when I was a little girl, but I do remember paying attention (so they must have been good). I’m certainly not opposed to sightseeing tours; it just depends on the situation.

Those sightseeing bus tours are a great start to any city. It helps you get your bearings around the city, and if you get the pass, its great, inexpensive transportation to most of the places you were going to go anyway…
