Oh my goodness, I am the QUEEN of mispronouncing things. Even when I think I’m doing it right, I always get a laugh! Case in point: Edinburgh. Never mind that the correct pronunciation has NOTHING to do with the way it is spelled!

I’m not as well traveled as you and never been to London but I’ve made the same London Bridge and Thames pronunciation errors and was quickly if not a bit harshly corrected by friends who knew more than I did. I love how there’s always something new to learn about travel, even if it’s something that’s obvious to others, it may not be to us.
