Follow up as we got back about a month ago. We loved Rhodes. The walled city was wonderful with a bit of a greek turkish flair. We didn’t have time to explore the rest of the island but what we saw we liked and will be back.

I actually live on the island. I am from the UK originally but I have been here now for 13 years.

So many people come to the island on holiday and do not take advantage of the sites and history.

It is great to see you had a good look around. You certainly have some nice photographs for your memories.

I love Rhodes and visited the island many times. Lindos is very interesting, especially a bit beyond the main area like you write. Also the views from Lindos Acropolis are magnificent!
