I was so not ready to leave Hawaii — is anyone ever ready to leave Hawaii? — when the #seeMaui trip ended last week. Thankfully, I didn’t have to. I had five blissful days hanging with my friends Wim and Dave, five days in which we walked their beautiful dogs along the beach, went hiking and kayaking, and mostly just bummed around their breezy new house. It was exactly the low key week I needed and I spent much of it plotting over how soon I could squeeze in another visit to this beloved island chain in the Pacific.
I hit the ground running upon my return to New York and I’m feeling refreshed and ready to enjoy my last five weeks in the USA before I take off on my next great adventure. Now… onto the Photo of the Week candidates!

They were great dogs, Caity 🙂 Well worth a vote!
I’ll go with C … because just looking at the rainbow on Hawaii’s license plate always puts a smile on my face. I love it there!

A or D, but all of them are great! I have a weakness for pups playing on the beach though.
Me too, Anne! Makes me wish I could take my own little guy to see the sand more often!

I do too, Soffia… especially when they come on a lei I’m being greeted with! Such a beautiful tradition.
A – I am a sucker for a good dog pic…and even more so if there are two dogs.
You would have loved these two! They were great guys. Very loyal and lots of energy.
D–the one on the right of you guys snorkeling!

They were pretty lucky pups to get to take their walks in that setting! I certainly wouldn’t complain…
I still love your D! Water photos, especially from underneath are just too darn cool!

Hey Rekha, they are coming but it will be a little while before they show up on the blog, unfortunately! I have lots of other stuff to share first about my adventures on the East Coast and in Las Vegas 🙂 Check out my Facebook page though for a few more photos to tide you over!
I enjoy reading about your times in Hawaii so much, they make me feel like I’m there each time!
Loving the pups and can never get over how pretty Hawaii’s beaches are, so I’ll go with A, and I also love the underwater snorkeling-silhouettes!
