Photo of the Week 155
I was so not ready to leave Hawaii — is anyone ever ready to leave Hawaii? — when the #seeMaui trip ended last week. Thankfully, I didn’t have to. I had five blissful days hanging with my friends Wim and Dave, five days in which we walked their beautiful dogs along the beach, went hiking and kayaking, and mostly just bummed around their breezy new house. It was exactly the low key week I needed and I spent much of it plotting over how soon I could squeeze in another visit to this beloved island chain in the Pacific.
I hit the ground running upon my return to New York and I’m feeling refreshed and ready to enjoy my last five weeks in the USA before I take off on my next great adventure. Now… onto the Photo of the Week candidates!

Pup pics will always have my vote!
They were great dogs, Caity 🙂 Well worth a vote!
I’ll go with C … because just looking at the rainbow on Hawaii’s license plate always puts a smile on my face. I love it there!
I know how you feel Justine! What a magical place.
A or D, but all of them are great! I have a weakness for pups playing on the beach though.
Me too, Anne! Makes me wish I could take my own little guy to see the sand more often!
you must know by now that i’m a sucker for all things classic. C!
The driver’s licenses are equally adorable and rainbow-emblazoned 🙂 Love it!
Photo D! It makes me want to get back in the water and go diving or snorkeling.
That’s what I like to hear! And me too… I can’t wait to get a tank back on in July!
Photo B, I love flowers!!
I do too, Soffia… especially when they come on a lei I’m being greeted with! Such a beautiful tradition.
A – I am a sucker for a good dog pic…and even more so if there are two dogs.
You would have loved these two! They were great guys. Very loyal and lots of energy.
D–the one on the right of you guys snorkeling!
I’m glad I got to put my underwater camera to good use again! Thanks 🙂
Tied between the dogs on the beach and the shot you guys snorkeling from below … both awesome shots!
Thanks Heather! Both remind me of fun happy times.
I agree with Kristin. Photo D is definitely my favorite photo of this week – love your underwater pictures!
Thanks Miriam! I love taking them too 🙂
I’ll choose D. I like underwater photos.
There should be plenty more coming up soon!
Beautiful! I haven’t been to Hawaii in forever, and have been daydreaming about it a lot lately. My vote is for pic A!
I know how you feel Lily, Hawaii always seems to be in the back of mind!
I love all the photos – but I’m going with number 1.
Or rather photo A.
Looks like that might be the reader’s choice this week 🙂 Love it!
Definetly photo A. Love the dogs 🙂
They were just the most amazing dogs! Wish I could have brought them home with me!
I love photo A. Gorgeous colours and gorgeous dogs 🙂
They were pretty lucky pups to get to take their walks in that setting! I certainly wouldn’t complain…
I still love your D! Water photos, especially from underneath are just too darn cool!
Thanks Corinne! Love how that one came out.
I’m going to opt for picture A. It just looks like a fun time and a place I’d love to be.
I’d teleport myself back there this moment if given the chance! 🙂
I only see photos from Maui, where are the blog posts and Maui adventures 🙁 Eagerly waiting…
Hey Rekha, they are coming but it will be a little while before they show up on the blog, unfortunately! I have lots of other stuff to share first about my adventures on the East Coast and in Las Vegas 🙂 Check out my Facebook page though for a few more photos to tide you over!
I enjoy reading about your times in Hawaii so much, they make me feel like I’m there each time!
Loving the pups and can never get over how pretty Hawaii’s beaches are, so I’ll go with A, and I also love the underwater snorkeling-silhouettes!
Thanks Kristen! I can’t wait to start posting more about this Hawaii trip. It just makes me happy to think about!
