I just rediscivered this post through your Great Escape roundup and have now firmly put ‘Buti Yoga’ on my must-try list.
I literally don’t think there can be a better form of exercise than a tribal dance-infused version of yoga…

I guess when it comes to cities I like to go big or go home! I’ve never clicked with Boston and have always been ambivalent towards Chicago, but New York is my serious spirit city. Give it some time… there’s an NYC for everyone 🙂

Honestly, I’m not really one for big city NYEs anymore. I can’t stand the cold, the long lines, the traffic, the bouncers, the overpriced everything, etc. I love going out in the city but the last few years my friends have rented houses upstate or done house parties in the city and I’d be right there with them if I were stateside. Sorry that isn’t the advice you were looking for, I know 🙂 I’m sure you’ll have a great time trying it once!
