In reply to Carol Rushby. Thank you Carol, that's very kind of you. I believe that a resort like Montalay Bay will have free pickup at the pier -- they'll have a sign with your name on it. I'd double check that, but I'm sure that I've seen them picking up guests before! Also, if you haven't seen it, I have a full guidebook to Koh Tao.

In a few weeks I am staying at Montalay Bay Resort on Koh Tao for a few nights. I was wondering- do I take a tuk-tuk or a cab from the pier and about how much?
I have felt so sad reading about what your mother is going through. You have been the most amazing daughter.
