Jeremy, I’m always open to self reflection, so if you have a specific example of where you think I was “dripping with Western privilege”, I’d be open to hearing about them. But I believe not every place is for every person. If you look through my archives you’ll find that I gush about the vast majority of the places I visit. I had some very disturbing and frustrating experiences in Vietnam and I wrote about them as fairly as I knew how.
