Travel Quotes: Memory

This week’s travel quote struck a nerve with me when I read it. I have a long tradition of wearing very rose tinted glasses when looking back at my former travels. What was once an annoyance is now a taste of local flavor, what was once heart attack inducing turbulence is now a mildly bumpy ride, and what was once a tear inducing frustration is now a funny party story. The bad parts just seem to fade away. But good old Ben says it better than me:
