Remember that time Photo of the Week was just a bunch of photos of Easter-related crafts I did in the past seven days? Oh right that was NOW. You guys may have caught on that I’m an enthusiastic crafter, baker, and all around holiday-celebrator — hobbies that are often neglected when I’m living out of a backpack. So, let’s just say I was making up for lost time. Considering this is the first Easter I’ve spent in the USA since the advent of Pinterest, eggs all over America were quaking in fear of my bedazzling gun.

In reality, this has been a pretty stressful time where my income is in flux and my future is very much up in the air (more on that soon, I promise). Taking some time this week to bake and craft with friends and fam has been a nice way to come up for air after long hours spent crunching numbers, hunching over business plans, and crying in the fetal position while doing my taxes.

Hope you all are having an egg-celent day, wherever you are. And before I start in on the bunny puns, how about we head right over to these Photo of the Week candidates?

Anyone who does not choose a dog in bunnie ears has a heart of stone. That is all. Oh, and happy Easter! Remember all is well, change is good and in order to renew we have to shed some stuff, which often stings a bit xxx

I bet the cupcakes were delicious (what flavour?)

Sarah’s mum is right into scrapbooking, and a side benefit is, we get the most amazing hand made cards! πŸ™‚

She is however now sad (and a touch jealous) that in 60 days we are jetting off to see more of the world!

          April 22 2014

Well maybe you can put her to work making a scrapbook from all your photos and mementos along the way πŸ™‚

  • aw dog one! too cute. I have a billion pinterest projects that I should do one day… but never will. I like doing them as a “team” with snacks … so I can eat and let my buddies deal with the glue and glitter, then tell my mom I made it! worked when I was 5 anyways

    • Alex
      April 22 2014

Haha. I’d be the one with the glitter and the glue! This kind of madness runs in my family. My sister hosted a big crafternoon party for Valentine’s Day this year and I was so jealous I couldn’t do the same.

    Hi Alex,

my first time here. I think the name of your blog is great. I’m a bit of an Easter fan though I’m pretty sure I couldn’t get my dog to sit still to put the ears on. For the brief moments, you got the photos, you did well : )
