Today’s Photo of the Week post is a very special edition — it’s combining two weeks into one! Yes, yes — let’s spin it that way. A special edition sounds a lot better than I didn’t get my act together last weekend, don’t you think? In my defense, the last two weeks kind of blurred together anyway. I was here in Albany, recovering from surgery (you’ll hear more about it), crafting for Christmas (you’ll definitely hear more about it) and spending time with my hometown friends, my family, and the world’s cutest cocker spaniel.
I couldn’t be happier that I came home for the holidays this year. But you know what? After five and a half weeks in New York state, I’m ready to hit the road again. And tomorrow, I will! To where, you ask? Stay tuned to Facebook and Instagram for clues!
Without further ado, I present, this very extremely special, seriously magical wonderful, Two Week Christmas Edition of Photo of the Week!

Which photo is your favorite? Any guesses where I’m headed?
. . . . . . . . .
Everyone is getting into the holiday spirit! This month, my friends at the hotel booking site Yonderbound are extending a $10 credit to anyone who signs up — and signing up is free, as always! Even better, you can refer friends to do the same, and receive a $5 for each one that does. Just click here to claim.
Please note that I am an affiliate partner of Yonderbound and receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.
Photo’s D for me (you won me over with Cheese which is no difficult task)
Hmmm, you’re off somewhere hey.
Anywhere in the Caribbean?
It is somewhere warmer than New York… that I can reveal 😛
Photo D because there’s cheese. One of the things I miss dearly about home is good cheese. And extra points for shaping the cheese cubes into a Christmas tree 🙂 I love the little broccoli tree trunk!
Ha, I have to give Pinterest a bit of credit where credit is due 🙂 But actually I was doing the same thing years ago with broccoli and veggies, no Pinterest needed!
They are all so festive! Tucker’s wearing a sweater, isn’t he!? And I only noticed on the second pass that the fruit and cheese plate is in the shape of a Christmas tree. I think that one has to get my vote, because creativity points and stuff. Photo D seems to have taken an early lead.
That is indeed Tucker wearing a sweater 🙂 Someone had a little tragedy at the groomers and came out feeling a little naked. Nothing like a holiday sweater to cheer him up!
Ah, that fruit and cheese Christmas tree is amazing in Photo D! I am definitely using that idea for 2015’s Christmas celebrations. I also love the fact you can see snow out the window in Photo C: something you don’t see in Australia. Happy Holidays!
Thanks Hayley! I’d love to see a photo of that next year if you do!
so much creativity in this lovely xmas set! i love tucker always & forever but photo b of your incredible wrapping job takes the cake for me!
ps — who did the cheese & grape tree??
That would be me 🙂
Photo A.
Where are you going? My guess “Australia”? Haha.
All will be revealed soon 🙂
I am choosing A. I wish you Alex a Happy New Year.
Thanks Steve! Right back at ya 🙂
Photo E! If in doubt I always go for peace on earth
We change that sign for every occasion, that was our holiday pick this year 🙂
Long shot but SOUTH AFRICA! Yessss
Photo B 🙂
Love the dreaming big 🙂 Reveal forthcoming!
I think it has to be Picture C for me.
Apart from loving your theme, there is something wonderful about coming together around a table as a family to eat. 🙂
Indeed! That photo was from my Christmas dinner party I throw for all my childhood friends… another group of people I love to be around the table to eat with!
There are so many cute, creative touches in all of these pics! But…I’m going for A ‘Tucker the present protector/hoarder!’
Ha, he does have quite the patrolman look on, doesn’t he 🙂
Photo D because I love that cheese plate! Also, you have some seriously impressive gift wrapping skills, girl.
I actually love it, strangely! I love shopping for what paper I’m going to use each year. I guess any excuse to get a little creative 🙂
They’re all so lovely! I hope you had a wonderful holiday!
Hmm…Central America??
Big post with all my travel plans for 2015 coming up later this week!
Photos A and B are the best! I’m a sucker for pooches and I love your pretty giftwrapping.
Hope you had a wonderful holiday and are doing something fun for NYE!
I am… and I’m on my way there right now! (THE SUSPENSE BUILDS!)
I’m going to have to go with A. I miss having a pooch around when I’m on the road. He’s so stinking cute!
I know, Laura, I know! I miss him already.
I love photo B – there’s something about wrapped presents that is so full of potential! (plus, beautifully wrapped 🙂 )
Thanks Ellen! I take great pride, and fun, in wrapping 🙂
Oh hai, can you wrap all my presents from now on? Thanksbye.
Maybe that could be a new side job next December 🙂
I love this series. That wrapping paper is amazing. I might have to pick some up for next year!
Container Store, girl! Love it!
B. The wrapping is adorable! I’ve been scoping out packaging ideas for future… who wouldn’t love to receive something so prettily wrapped as these!? Totally pinning.
I LOVE present wrapping. One of my strange little favorite things about the holidays!
That fruit/cheese Christmas tree is so neat! Totally my favourite.
Pinterest never ceases to amaze 🙂
