Have we really been in Ecuador for three weeks? In some ways it feels like three days; in others, three months. We spent the bulk of the past one in Quito taking advantage of great internet and catching up on work — and torrential downpours played along by allowing us to spend the days indoors guilt-free. Eventually we caught a bus to Mindo and soaked up every possible minute of this beautiful nature-lover’s playground.
In some ways Ecuador has felt quite dream-like (I’ve really been here for three weeks?), as we’ve dedicated a lot of time here trying to figure out what comes next — Anders looking for a summer diving job before starting a degree in the fall and me trying to figure out my next major moves. Much has changed since I last made a big travel plans announcement, and I hope to share a peek behind the scenes sometime this week.
In the meantime, onto the Photo of the Week candidates!
