Sorry that this week’s Photo of the Week is late… again! I blame the exorbitant 50 cents per minute internet charges on the cruise ship I was on until this morning. This week was one of the hardest to narrow down, as we were in a new Greek island every day and I was shooting up a storm! Since I always try to reflect the week as a whole, I eventually settled on this photo that includes my floating home for the week.
The winner was taken on Mykonos island, with the Silversea cruise ship floating behind those iconic windmills.
I hope its not too confusing that these Photos of the Week (and my monthly roundups) break my otherwise chronological posting. I’m about three weeks behind “real time” in blogging, a gap I hope will close to a week or two when I get to Thailand and I’m not constantly on the move.
Happy Saturday, internet!
Looks like a nice spot. I’ve heard the internet fees on a ship can be astounding!
Ugh, you can’t imagine! And this was an “all inclusive” cruise. Minus, you know, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN MY LIFE! Wait, did I just make myself sound pathetic?
Love this!
Thanks Danielle! It was a hard choice this week, seems like I made the right decision! π
I love your life !!!!
Ha, thanks, me too! (Most days). Let’s plan a reunion somewhere warm.
Beautiful! Happy Saturday!!!
Thanks missy!
hI!! Was the cruise cool or what. Is that a Silver Seas!?!
It was great! Sadly you’ll have to wait a few weeks to read about it while I finish blabbing about Ibiza and London… and yes, Silversea!
I totally know what you mean–after four years of blogging, I finally starting doing so chronologically, but considering I pull a Photo Friday from the archives often, that totally breaks things up.
Love Greece–would love me a little Mediterranean sunshine about now!
I much prefer reading chronological blogging, but when writing it can sometimes be a tad limiting. Like, what if I want to write about Tanzania this week? Then I have to worry about confusing people. Also, getting to Tanzania.
I like the “real time” photos! Keeps me wanting to read future posts when you do eventually get to them. Especially when it involves a luxury cruise! I’ve been on standard cruise lines but always been curious about how it compares to something like Silverseas.
Well, this is actually my first cruise ever so I won’t be good for comparisons! You’ll have to let me know what the verdict is though π I did work with cruise liners almost exclusively in Grand Cayman so I think I have somewhat of an idea of the industry, however.
