It’s that time of the week again… look at some photos and vote your heart out!
Photo A
This might be my favorite photo of the week, but I hesitate to use it because it was taken on our very last day in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and since the rest of our six days were spent in Vietnam, I wanted this Photo of the Week to be taken there!
Photo B
Rice for sale at a market in Saigon. You won’t make it very far in South East Asia with a healthy appreciation for this meal staple.
Photo C
If I could sum up Saigon in one word it would be: traffic. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen on this Earth; a mass of metal and fumes speeding by constantly.
Photo D
A quiet moment at the Reunification Palace in Saigon. I think the traditional dress I’ve seen in Vietnam is my favorite in South East Asia. I’d love one of these dresses for myself.
Okay… you know what to do!
Happy weekend!
Photo A is intriguing but I voted for Photo D because of its simplicity. You captured a reflective moment in time and that’s what I like most about the picture!
It’s so funny, literally every week the photo I’m thinking of choosing is the least popular! I liked the rice photo, ha.
I voted for A but I liked D too… Tough decisions!
Photo D was compelling, but A was soooo cool!
I’m not picking they are all freaking AMAZING!!!!!! These are your best photos yet.
Thanks Andi! That’s quite the compliment π
photo A was/is a one-in-a-lifetime moment quickly and skillfully captured. It’s the best because in that moment you knew you had to snap the shutter. Photo b & C, as good as they are, you can take them every day. Only photo d comes close to that gotta-get-it-now talent.
That’s an interesting way to look at it, and I agree! I think Photo D is becoming my favorite, the more I look at them.
YOU DO A WONDERFUL JOB OF SELECTING SITES TO PHOTOGRAPH. I LOOK FORWARD TO SKYPING YOU THANKSGIVING.
LOVE,MJ
